The South Stormont Environmental Action Committee wants to grow something great in South Stormont!
From organizing Community Clean Up Days to running a successful rain barrel program, the South Stormont Environmental Action Committee (EAC) has been off to great start since their inception in 2024. Now, they have a new goal: implement the Township's first Community Garden!
The EAC is in the beginning stages of exploring the project, including identifying community interest, volunteer networks, sponsors, and plot locations. We've established this page to get the conversation going with residents and provide updates as the EAC navigates this ambitious new project.

What is a community garden?

The Township of South Stormont's Environmental Action Committee (EAC) is exploring the creation of a community garden to promote local sustainability, food security, and community engagement.
