Community Clean Up Week Kick Off Event
Join us at Lost Villages Brewery on Saturday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. and participate in the Community Clean Up Kick Off Event!
Event Details
Beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18th, South Stormont residents can visit Lost Villages Brewery to collect a designated waste bag. Use this bag to collect waste from roadside ditches, parks, trails, etc. and return a full bag and our friends at Lost Villages Brewery will exchange it for a free drink!
Community partnerships like this are so heart-warming to see, and we thank Lost Villages Brewery for offering their help to see South Stormont shine!
South Stormont Fire and Rescue will be on hand with a fire truck, giveaways for children, and some helpful education to keep you and your family safe all year round.
The Environmental Action Committee will also be on hand to chat about their upcoming initiatives, such as a Community Garden Project, Rain Barrel Program, and what comes next.
Community Clean Up Week!
Between April 19-25, participate by collecting trash from roadside ditches, parks, trails, public spaces, etc. Leave your collected waste well off the road at a nearby intersection, let us know where you left it by contacting the Township Office at 613-534-8889 or by email at bailey@southstormont.ca, and our team will collect the waste during our routes.
