The nomination period is when candidates wishing to run for a position on Council can file their nomination papers. The nomination period runs from May 1, 2026 through August 21, 2026.
Candidates must file their nominations papers with the Clerk at the Township of South Stormont Office, located at 2 Mille Roches Road, Long Sault, during regular business hours of Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
